Marie Wright Graves and Josephine Lide both descend from Ann (Maiden Name Not Known) Elgin. Ann Elgin died in South Carolina in 1794. Her descendents moved to Georgia where many still live today. Ann was the wife of James Elgin. She was probably born about 1735 in Prince William County, VA or Charles County, MD. The family of James Elgin lived in Durham Parish, Charles County, MD. Both Marie and Jo have results from the Full Genomic Sequence test and they are an exact match. Terrance Albert Hicks is also an exact match with Marie and Jo. I have sent him a couple of inquires by email, but have not been able to reach him. Be sure to keep me posted if you are able to piece any of this together. Carl |
