THE CAPITAL TIMES Thursday July 20 At Age of 64 Dr Milton D Davis Milton Doctor Dies of Heart Attack MILTON Dr Milton D Davis 64 longtime Milton physician died W e d n e s day at home after a heart attack He was a World War II vet eran He was past president of the Marcy Hospital staff in Janes ville past president of the Rock County Medical Society past president of the Milton College Alumni Assn and in 1957 he was elected president of the Colleges Board of Trustees He was also a member of the board if Wisconsin Physicians Service He avice chairman of the fund drive to establish a medical museum in Prairie du He is survived by his wife a son Milton Jr with the Ma rine Corps in Camp Lejune NC and one grandson The funeral will be at pm Saturday in the Mil ton Seventh Day Baptist Church

Dr. Davis Succumbs Milton D. 64, of 465 High a Milton physician since 1931, died this morning at his home after suffering a heart He had been associated with Dr. H. L. Burdick in medical practice since 1946. Dr. long active in area and state medical had served as president of the Mercy Hospital was a past president of the Rock County Medical Society and a longtime member of the Board of Wisconsin Physician Service of Blue In 1957 he was appointed one of 13 general vice chairmen of the fund drive to establish the Medical Museum of Wisconsin on the site of the second Fort Crawford in Prairie du a project sponsored and completed under the direction of the State Medical A former president of Milton College Alumni was elected president of the board of trustees of the college in 1947. Dr. Davis served as central alumni chairman of the 1940 Milton College Century He was chairman of the college grounds committee for some time and worked toward joining the men's dormitory with the school's central heating plant in the early 1940s. Dr. Davis was commissioned as captain in the Army Medical Corps in 1942 and served in the South Pacific Theater during World War II resuming his DR. MILTON D. DAVIS	practice here after his discharge i from the medical corps March I 16. 1946. I Surviving are his a 1 Milton D. Davis with the j Marine Corps at Camp and a Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Milton Seventh Day Baptist the Rev. Earl Cruzan officiating with burial in Milton
