| Shared note | CHILD NOTES: Benjamin Franklin Davis General: Clinton Chronicle Dec. 14, 1933 Obituary Frank Davis, 76, dies in Delmar Delmar, Dec. 13 (Special) Frank Davis, 76, retired farmer, died at 9:15 o'clock this morning in his home here after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clok in the home and at 2 o'clock at the M.E. church with the Rev. J. Gallager officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery. He was born Dec. 26, 1857, in Terre Haute, IN. and moved from there with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Davis, when a young boy, to Welton. He married Hattie Hainstock in 1890. Surviving are his widow, one son, Harry, of Delmar, two brothers, Lincoln of Cedar Rapids, and Marion of Clinton; two sisters, Mrs. Jesse Carpenter and Mrs. James Smith of South Dakota.
