| Shared note | Kathryn S. Davis School librarian, 80 Kathryn S. Davis of Denver, a school librarian, died Monday. She was 80. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Central Presbyterian Church, 1660 Sherman St., Denver. There will be cremation. She was born Kathryn S. Schertz on Oct. 2, 1918, in Illinois. On Nov. 30, 1946, she married Hale V. Davis. He preceded her in death. She was a librarian at Cherry Creek High School. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She is survived by two sons, Mark and Skip, both of Denver; a daughter, Anni Mitchell, Edwards; two sisters, Harriet Soldner, Decatur, Ill., and Dorothy Hostetler, Tiffin, Ohio; two brothers, Arthur, Fort Wayne, Ind., and Harold, Metamora, Ill.; and one grandson. |
